This judge doesn't bother to read cases from the appellate court, and then she disagrees with their holdings. She completely fails to follow the law. She is emotional, vindictive and arbitrary. It took her months to get a ruling out. The only reason she is there is because she was hand-picked by her predecessor before he went on senior status. She couldn't reason her way out of a paper bag.

When this judge was new to the bench as a magistrate judge, she was pretty fair and even-handed. A year on the bench and all that changed. The power as a magistrate judge went to her head, where it has remained when she ascended to the District Court. She is lazy on the draw, temperamental to moody, flexes the judicial muscle when not necessary and blames others. One needs to figure out which side of the bed she got out of when she sits on the bench. 'Which judge will we see today?' is the usual question a practitioner needs to ask. She might be intelligent but that is all negated by her pettiness, moodiness and volatility. Watch out for this one.

This judge is a bigot and a racist. This negates her intellect. She gossips about attorneys and trashes the ones she does not like. Her appointment was very political. She has screamed at lawyers and litigants alike. She should be impeached.

This judge started out showing compassion for litigants who brought civil rights and employment cases before her. She has done a 180 when she learned that she was a contender for the Federal Bench vacated by her former boss. She is vindictive towards counsel and refuses responsibility for plain errors and her neglecting of the civil docket. I was a recipient of a lengthy opinion of 30 pages or more trashing me for having the temerity to request an extension of time and discovery to answer a summary judgment challenging me to object to her order and have two advesaries instead of one. She has trashed me with other counsel when I have not been present in the courtroom and I am sure this will translate into my clients getting punished for their choice of counsel. One of the horror stories about this judge was her screaming at one of the unfortunate illegals magisrtated by her-for chewing gum.Of late, my experiences with this judge is that she overreacts and is vindictive. With Judges like this is it any wonder that Citizens do not believe in the Justice System any more. God help the poor schmuck who ends up in front of this Judge when she is elevated to the Federal Bench.
