Outstanding magistrate. Definitely a judge that you should consent to if you can convince your adversary. Amazing knowledge of law but also great knowledge of business and people. Wonderful mediator. Takes control of discovery. An all-time great. I am really happy to have had the chance to practice in front of him.

While serving as an expert witness for a civil matter, I found his demeanor to be relaxed and cordial. Judge Ashman does not tolerate foolish games by any party, and is quick to call counsel on any such issues. He is a quick wit, and seems imbued with common sense.

Very bright and fair judge. Gives reasoned rulings. Entertains oral argument on most motions and generally rules from the bench.

God made man and shortly thereafter he made a great judge. Judge Ashman is that judge. A Star as a lawyer, a Star on the State bench, Star on the small chair federal bench, but most importantly a Star as a man and as a role model to other judges, lawyers and people in general!!!!!
