At this point, arguing before him is like arguing before a layperson of like age and infirmity. Sadly, he's damaging his considerable legacy by staying on the bench.

Terrible judge on three defendant RICO case with homicide charge. He is quite elderly-cannot hear or see well. Ruled for the prosecution consistently, ignored or unmoved by legal arguments/precident, hostile to defense counsel. Cranky, intractable and impatient but will never retire, the bench is his life.
