Gun control is moral camouflage. Gun control proponents are not up in arms over their police forces shooting unarmed civilians or their military forces killing 600,000 Iraqi civilians at gun point, since 2001, to liberate them from their oil. Perhaps, we should whittle down other unpopular constitutional protections like equal protection for elders and minorities, the right to be free from warrantless searches and seizures, that privacy right to an abortion, etc.
