Realistic and evenhanded in settlement conference. Did not display bias (disagree with comment that he is reflexively pro big corporation) and worked hard, and effectively to bring the parties to an agreement. Excellent judge.

Judge Lloyd is thoughtful and even handed. His questions at oral argument gave the impression he understood the legal issues. However, his opinion showed he failed to understand the difference between three distinct theories of liability. His decision muddled the law in a precedent setting case.
