Judge Hudspeth is one of the finest judges that I have ever been in front of. When he sets a case for trial, he means it; it is going to happen that day. In the jury trial that I handled before him, he paid close attention, was polite and moved us along at good clip. He took extensive notes, was sharp on evidence issues and decisive in his rulings. Judge Hudspeth even drafted the jury instructions and verdict form prior to our charge conference. I was blown away by how into it he was. I hope that I get the chance to try another case in front of him.

He is a terrible judge. Grants motions that other judges would deny. Doesn't understand the law. He probably hires terrible law clerks. He rules as a matter of law on issues that are clearly matters of fact. He is a jaded mean old judge. Should be put out to pasture.

One of the faster Judges available in San Antonio right now. You will get rulings on your motions, you just might not like them.

Very good in criminal matters, but extremely biased in favor employers and the government in discrimination and civil rights cases. Snide and arrogant with about everybody. Not as smart as he thinks he is.
