Very practical in his approach to discovery disputes. Hands on in settlement conferences. Always a gentleman. He is even tempered and listens to all arguments. However, he will not have the wool pulled over his eyes. Excellent U.S. Magistrate Judge.

Very understanding of the REAL world of litigation. Extremely courteous to all. I wish all judges had his attitude. A true CREDIT to the judiciary.

Judge Moyer is fair, professional and prepared. In employment cases, he brings knowledge as well as experience to settlement conferences, as well as discovery disputes. He seeks a practical result with no attempt at being overbearing or imposing any personal preference for a result. Judge Moyer is an excellent judge.

A pleasure to practice in front of, but do not take his genuinely friendly manner to mean that he is a pushover. He will see through a smokescreen in an instant, and then nicely blow you out of the water. Be prepared to advocate for your client with law and facts, not BS.

Great judge and a great guy. Very bright and always fair. Gentleman to everyone. I'm surprised he has not been elevated to the District Court.

Moyer is one of the brightest judges I have ever appeared in front of. No matter how difficult the issue 'he gets it.' Be forewarned, he is a tough judge to bulls--t, so either your know your stuff or expect to have a long day in court.
