Judge Pollak is not someone you want in an employment discrimination case. He will not reconsider erroneous decisions of his magistrate, and he finds facts against the plaintiff in summary judgment. Maybe he has has a bad few years of conservative clerks or he is tired.

See USA v. Moskovits, 866 F.Supp. 178 (E.D.Pa. 1994) (belated Pollak recusal after presiding for seven years over drug case involving Penn student in violation of recusal statute as Pollak's entire household had close connection to University of Pennsylvania).
