I have to echo the other comments that he is SLOW to rule, which damages both sides. He also has forgotten what it was like to be a practicing lawyer and revels in being 'a federal judge'

Superb trial judge, but so slow to rule that my client had to make a bad settlement becuase it could not hold out any longer. His trial demeanor and handling of a very long and complex case was without peer, but he gave away all the positives by refusing to rule.

Incredibly perceptive and fair jurist, obviously a judge prepared for the bench by years of private practice.

A real trial lawyer's judge. Excellent on the bench, very fair and evenhanded. Can be slow to decide and is too hand's-off during discovery.
