As a senior lit support person who's been in front of numerous Federal Judges, she is by far the most amazing District Judge I have ever encountered. She is fast on her feet, can spot bs and is extremely intelligent (She reminds of Edie Falco's Camela Soprano). In my patent case, she understood extremely complicated patent language and mechanisms. Present your case honestly and efficiently, and you shouldn't have any problems. Do not try any fanfare and phrase your questions intelligently, but simple enough for the jury to understand. Be sure to breakdown any terms a layman would not understand. If she sees you're trying to get one past the jury, she may call you out on it, by asking her own questions. She truly covers herself for appeal on every aspect. If she asks for the law on an issue, get it to her! If she asks for a case that demonstrates the law, then get it to her! She will chop up your briefs if what she wants isn't in them. And be sure to object timely.

She is attentive and fair and handles complex matters with ease. She comes across as very intellegent and it is obvious that she was a very skilled trial attorney while she was a federal prosecutor. She always seems to be one step ahead of the attorneys in her court room and always has very pointed questions. Some of her clerks that I have dealt with left a bit to be desired, but she is a great judge

Worst judge I have yet encountered. Decides the case beforehand and her opinions are excerpts from her predetermined winner's briefs. Ignores the facts and pleadings. When you lose, you want to at least feel the judge listened and considered what you had to say -- not so with this judge. She blows you off and makes it clear she's blowing you off.

I agree. She can spot a player a mile away and takes appropriate action in the name of justice. Holds her ground well. Garfield NJ

Comes across as very fair and prepared (can quickly understand the issues at stake - a 'quick study'). Seems involved and interested yet keeps a judicial temperament.
