Positive comments here must have been made by employees seeking to curry favor or family members. With all due respect, this judge is Exhibit A on why there should not be lifetime appointments for Art. III judges. Does better job of prosecuting the case than any AUSA in the room. It is not a judge's job to do the prosecutor's work for them. Already has her mind made up on a number of issues affecting the sentence.

Here's a hot tip, judge. A criminal caught with 75 pounds of dope would have said Judge Judy kicked him if he knew he would get immunity from prosecution for the drug bust and a free pass (visa) to come to America and climb on the gravy train of free stuff from American tax payers. You should resign in shame.

I have watched this judge on a number of occasions and find her very straightforward and by the book. She doesn't take any nonsense from the attorneys and expects them to be ready for court, forcing these guys to actually do the job their clients are paying them for. (The ones that are paying anyway.) With the caseload that she has, I find her very effective and efficient. Well done.

This woman forgets where she came from. She lets her own personal issues get in the way of giving everyone a quick and speedy trial. She is very rude and shouldn't be in this position. She needs to start cleaning up her personal problems before passing judgement on others. She doesn't listen to what is being asked. She abuses the power bestowed upon her by our government.

Very rude and unprofessional. Won't give attorneys a chance to talk. Interrupts and is very condescending to defendants and attorneys. She is on a huge ego trip and abuses the power bestowed upon her by the United States of America.

Tough but fair. Runs a tight docket and people tend not to appreciate her because she actually believes lawyers should be prepared - how unreasonable. How nice it would be to have a judge that allows the government and defense attorneys, as well as the civil guys from Houston, to be as lazy and inattentive to their cases as possible - gotta get that government money while I drink my coffee and talk about firing Federal agents trying to work the field. Sorry guys, earn your dollars and quit griping.

She is extremely rude. She forms her own opinions on things with no regard for the facts. She does not allow the defense lawyers to speak. In her own words: 'I already know where you are going with this.' Last time that I checked, being a pyschic was not on any list of legal accomplishments. I think that, due to her own unresolved personal matters, she should not be on the bench at this time.

Rude to all parties. Incredibly inflexible. Sits in Del Rio buts forces lawyers to travel hundreds of miles just to 'see how things are going in the case.'
