Tends to accept lawyers' comments at face value while giving pro se litigants no credibility. Sarcastic towards pro se litigants.

One of the most unreasonable judges to deal with, having no regard for truth or justice, but only interested in making pro se litigants feel stupid to satisfy her own belligerent behavior.

Easily the most difficult personality in the courthouse to deal with; tempermental; histrionic; unable to keep staff; unable to admit error; enjoys throwing blame for her mistakes around; rude; arrogant.

Coan puts political patronage before the law and rights of litigants. Even Senator Allard concluded she is 'not competent' to be a Federal judge. Her own law school's publications document that 'she has a pro se bias' and lacks basic integrity and common sense. Her personal agendas come before trying to promote fair resolution of cases.

Has a reputation for nailing plaintiff's counsel on employment cases with sanctions motions. Does not promote settlement.
